Dr. Stephen C. Nicolaidis
What is his expertise and how does he stand out?
Specializing in breast and body contouring, Dr. Nicolaidis is one of the few plastic surgeons in Quebec to be board-certified in both Canada and the United States. In addition to his private practice at Clinique Contour, located on Montcalm Street, he also practices reconstructive plastic surgery at the CHUM. He also has expertise in hand surgery. His dual practice—aesthetic and reconstructive—nurtures his in-depth expertise, particularly in complex cases.
What is his position on breast implants?
Dr. Nicolaidis stopped using all types of breast implants in May 2021. After realizing that any patient could potentially react negatively to these devices, he chose to focus on explantation. He is now considered Canada’s leading explantation surgeon, with over 1,200 procedures performed as of May 2025.
